22 official championship rules
We follow Formula 1 regulations.
We have 5 people at the FIA: Gilles Poncelet, Louis Fracken, Simon Beaucarne, Kevin Kopp and Rémy Adnet. The FIA is responsible for penalties. In case of a fault, you can appeal it.
How do we earn points? Points are focused on Pack A drivers. The driver who finishes in first place receives 15 points, 14 for second and so on. (See points table below)
There is an individual championship as well as a team championship.
For the team championship, there will be 5 teams of 3 drivers.
For the team championship, if a driver finishes in 1st place (15 points), the second finishes in 4th place (12 points) and the third in 6th place (10 points). The team total therefore amounts to 37 points (15+12+10).
If a driver does not participate, they earn nothing in the individual standings.
For the team standings, if a driver does not participate but a Pack B driver replaces them and scores points, these points count for the team.
Races are organized twice in Wallonia, twice in Brussels and twice in Flanders.
We use petrol for the races.
There is a qualifying session and a race.
80 kg is required. If you don't reach 80 kg, add ballast to reach 80 kg. If you weigh more than 80 kg, that's already correct.
The driver who achieves the fastest lap in the race receives a bonus of 0.5 points during the race.
Flying Start: At the start of the race, karts must follow the guide one behind the other. They must not overtake or move to the side. Karts must form a straight line. Drivers must try to get as close as possible to the kart in front of them. It doesn't matter if their kart touches the kart in front.
To know which kart you can use, drivers take the kart assigned to them based on the ranking from the previous competition. For example, the winner of the previous competition will take the first kart. The last competitor will take the last kart. Or there is a board with karting numbers, and we follow this board.
Pack B drivers cannot join the race, unless the number of participants is insufficient. In this case, they may be invited.
There are penalties, and the FIA decides which sanction to apply.
If a driver does not give way to another and causes a collision, they receive a penalty.
In case of a yellow flag on the track, drivers must slow down. Failure to comply with this rule results in a penalty.
In case of a tie in points between two drivers, we compare the number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. If the tie persists, we compare the fastest lap. If the tie still persists, the driver ranked highest in the last race is declared the winner.
If a Pack A driver cannot come and provides a valid reason, Ebisu refunds part of the amount (not 100%).
If a Pack A driver cannot come without proof or valid reason, Ebisu does not refund. However, if they find someone to replace them, a partial refund is possible (not 100%).
Points System (Pack A)
Ranking logic
Same finish, two distinct rankings
Arrivée
- Pilot 1 Team Alpha
- Pilot 2 No Team (Replacing a pilot from Team Beta)
- Pilot 3 Team Charlie
- Pilot 4 No Team (Because Pack B)
- Pilot 5 Team Delta
Classement Pilote
-
Pilot 1 Team Alpha+15
-
Pilot 2 No Team (Replacing a pilot from Team Beta)+0
-
Pilot 3 Team Charlie+13
-
Pilot 5 Team Delta+12
Pack B pilots are removed from the ranking (There is therefore a ranking shift), BUT Pack C pilots remain in the ranking without scoring points.
Classement Team
-
Team Alpha Pilot 1+15
-
Team Beta No pilot (But pilot 2 gives their points because they replace a pilot from Team Beta)+14
-
Team Charlie Pilot 3+13
-
Team Delta Pilot 5+12
Pack B pilots are removed from the ranking, and Pack C pilots remain in the ranking to give their points to the team.
